Box Score Normal, Il -- September 17, 2026 -- The Parkland men's soccer team earned their first win of the season with a dominant performance at MWAC opponent Heartland Community College on Thursday.
The Cobras took control of the match early with a big first half.
Sagi Karagola put Parkland on the board with a penalty kick in the 13th minute, and
Pierce Cannon added to the lead scoring off an assist from
Marcos Arorez Campa in the 24th minute.
Charlie Dunn hit the net for the Cobra's third goal of the afternoon in the 28th minute, followed by a score from
Lyan Donahue in the 34th minute to close out the first half.
Marcos Arorez Campa capped off a dominating offensive performance with a goal in the 57th minute off an assist from
Alexander Williams as the Cobras cruised to a 5-0 win.
As a team, Parkland finished with 15 shots with 8 on frame while holding the Hawks to two total shots, one on frame for the match.

Sagi Karagola would combine for another six shots with three on frame, and
Simonas Ankstutis had one shot on frame for the Cobras. Goalkeeper
Noah Grieshaber finished with one save through 90 minutes of action as the Cobra backfield kept the Hawks out of the net all afternoon.
The Cobras improve to 1-3-3 (1-0 MWAC) on the season, while Heartland falls to 3-4-1 (0-1-1 MWAC).
