Lenny Sementi

Lenny Sementi, in his inaugural season as the Cobras’ head softball coach, comes to Parkland after a successful 23 year career as the head softball coach at Tuscola High School. Sementi amassed 500+ career wins (.73 winning percent, with 16 twenty plus wins in a season and 2 thirty plus wins in a season), 11 regional championships, 4 sectional titles, 5 elite eight appearances, and a 4th place finish at state in 2012 while leading the Warriors. Over the course of his career, Sementi has helped 42 players continue their softball career into college, including seven players competing at the Division 1 level. Sementi has served the Illinois Coaches Association with ranking Class 1A and 2A softball teams and assisted in the selection of the All-State Team.

Sementi’s success on the softball field only rivals his 30+ years on the side line of the football field, nearly all of those years serving as a Defensive Coordinator.
