Jalen Perry enters his first year as an Assistant Coach of the Parkland Women’s Basketball program for the 2024-2025 season. Perry, a Bloomington-native, brings over a decade of basketball experience as a former player and personal skills trainer. He most recently interned under the Brigham Young University Men’s Basketball program as a scout for the 2023-2024 season. Prior to BYU, he attended and graduated from the prestigious University of Miami where he achieved a M.S.Ed. (Sport Administration) and was a member of the Men’s Club basketball team. Prior to becoming a UM student, Perry attended and graduated with honors from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO where he studied Sports Management with a minor in Business. As a scholarship athlete playing the point guard position, he was a valued member of their men’s basketball team from 2019-2021.
