Katie Saxe

In fall 2021, Katie Saxe enters her first year assisting the Parkland women's soccer program. She is currently the Manager of Youth Programs/Lil' Kickers Coordinator at Soccer Planet in Urbana, Ill. and has served as Assistant Varsity Soccer Coach at Unity High School in Tolono, Ill., since August 2019. She was also an assistant coach for the Michigan State University Women’s Club Soccer team when it won the 2015 NCAA Club National Championship.

Saxe brings a wealth of playing experience to Cobras Women's Soccer. In 2016 and 2015 she was a starting midfielder for the Michigan Lions of the WPSL semi-professional league. She was also a player on the the Michigan State University Women’s Club Soccer team when it won the 2012 NCAA Club National Championship. And, as a high school soccer player in Michigan, she helped lead her team to two MHSAA Girl's Soccer State Championships (2008, 2007).

Saxe earned her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 2014. She attended high school at Forest Hills Central in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
