Chris Warren

Chris Warren is in his 13th year as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Parkland College Athletics Department. A member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2008, Warren holds multiple professional certifications, including Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Precision Nutrition Sport and Exercise Nutrition, USA Weightlifting, Titleist Performance Institute, Muscle Activation Technique, and Russian Kettlebell Certification (RKC).

Warren earned his master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Illinois in 1996. He completed his undergraduate studies at Concordia University, earning a double major in Business Administration and Exercise Physiology, and holds an associate’s degree in Business Administration from Parkland College.
A former collegiate basketball player, Warren played four years of college basketball, starting 130 games and earning Academic All-American honors. He served as team captain and led the 1993 Parkland College men’s basketball team to the Region 24 Championship.

In addition to his role with athletics, Warren currently serves as a Professor of Kinesiology and the Program Director of the Personal Training Certificate at Parkland College. He is married to his wife Sharon, and they have three children: Alexa, Elijah, and Isaac.
