Kip McDaniel

Kip McDaniel enters his first season as head coach in the fall of 2024. A former head coach of the High School of Saint Thomas Moore women's soccer team, McDaniel brings a wealth of experience at varying levels of both men's and women's soccer to Parkland College. McDaniel also currently serves as the head coach of Junction FC, the first semi-professional soccer team in Central Illinois and a member of the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL).

Kip McDaniel, from Champaign, Illinois, grew up excelling at soccer in the Champaign-Urbana area as a club member of Illinois FC, formerly the Little Illini Soccer Club, and eventually as a standout player and team captain at Champaign Central High School, where he earned Big 12 All-Conference and News-Gazette All-Area Player of the Year honors. A 2006 graduate of Illinois State University, McDaniel captained the Redbirds men’s soccer team as a starting sweeper. After college, McDaniel served in numerous roles within athletics, including becoming an assistant head coach of the Denver Kickers and coaching multiple Illinois FC clubs at the under-11, under-14, and under-17 levels, with many athletes advancing to professional careers afterward.
