Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Parkland men's basketball team won big at home on Tuesday night, defeating Southeastern Illinois College 103-64. The Cobras outscored the Falcons 61-34 in the second half to help them to their largest margin of victory this season.
Jordan Jenkins led the Cobras in scoring off the bench, scoring 14 points to go along with three assists and three steals. Five different Parkland College players finished the night with 11 or more points.

The Cobras (6-4) played efficient basketball in the first half, shooting 50% from the field, forcing 12 turnovers and outrebounding Southeastern Illinois College 19-13. The Cobras outscored the Falcons (1-6) in the paint 24-16 in the first half and as a result, coach Figueroa's squad led 42-30 at halftime. With the starters back on the floor for the Cobras to start the second half, Parkland went on an 11-minute, 33-11 run that stretched the lead out to 75-41. Parkland had taken full control of the game and with 3:13, the Cobras inflated their lead all the way to 42 points. All 13 active players played meaningful minutes down the stretch, as the Cobras salted away the massive 103-64 win.
Josh Rivers led the starters in scoring, dropping 13 points on 6-7 shooting, and
A'Kieon Gill put together another strong performance despite struggling from the field (6 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists).
