CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – No. 1 Parkland College Volleyball (11-0, 3-0 M-WAC) earned a 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-18) conference victory over Heartland CC (2-2, 0-2) on Sunday.
 
Halle Everett (16 kills, 2 aces) teamed up with Hailey Sperling (11 kills, 5 blocks) for 27 of the Cobras' 38 kills.
 
Kayla Brandon (23 digs, 3 aces) led Parkland to a team total of 58 digs, while Summerlyn Smith (31 assists, 9 digs) added nine of her own. At the net, Katie Kaiser was responsible for 13 of the Cobras' 28 blocks, while Sperling chipped in an additional 5.
 
Brandon and Everett combined for 5 of Parkland's 7 service aces.
