CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The No. 9 Parkland College men's soccer team won a very competitive game against St. Louis Community College Saturday afternoon. The Cobras (4-1-1) scored three in the second half and kept a clean sheet despite St. Louis' (0-6-1) best efforts.

"St. Louis has been on the wrong end of a lot of scores, but we knew they were going to be a good team," said Coach Sikora said after the game. Sikora was pleased with his team's defensive effort in the second half, saying, "I don't care how many goals we score, but if we cant pressure them into giving the ball back then were going to have a long day and the guys did it."
