Cobras Fall to John Wood 2-0

Cobras fall behind early and can't respond

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Parkland College women's soccer team couldn't find the back of the net on Saturday afternoon and lose a conference game to John Wood 2-0.
 
The Cobras (3-5-0) were looking to get back in the win column on Saturday when John Wood Community College came to Champaign, but their plans were quickly foiled when the Blazers Devils (3-3-0) scored in the 4th minute. Both teams remained locked at 1-0 until John Wood broke through again in the 76th minute and that was all she wrote. Parkland goalkeeper Rebecca Painter had three saves in the loss.
