Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Parkland men's basketball team took care of business on Saturday afternoon, beating Lincoln Land Community College by a score of 93-75. The win improves the Cobras to 2-1 in the MWAC, while dropping the Loggers to 0-3.
Josh Rivers provided a huge spark off the bench scoring 17 points and the Cobras cruised to their fourth straight home win.

The Cobras (11-5) struggled to make shots early on Saturday, but they quickly turned it around, finishing the first half shooting 22-38 (57.9%) from the field and 5-12 (41.7%) from deep. The Cobras went on an 18-2 run near the end of the first half and went into the break with a 50-28 lead. The Loggers (4-11) had no answer for
Marcus Johnson at the start of the second half, as the freshmen from Akron, Ohio scored the Cobras' first six points out of halftime. Parkland's defense forced 18 turnovers and blocked four shots on the way to a big 93-75 conference win.
