Cobras Fall Short, 87-85 at Olney Central College

Parkland falls to 0-3 on the season

Box Score OLNEY, Ill. – The Parkland College men's basketball team hit the road again on Saturday, November 12th for a regional match-up against Olney Central College, as the Cobras lost 87-85 in another close game to start the season. The Cobras (0-3) forced 18 turnovers and shot 79% from the free throw line, but it wasn't enough versus the Blue Knights (3-1) on Saturday.
 
After the game, Parkland College head coach John Bowler said, "I am proud that our guys continue to battle, but we need to learn how to finish games, and the vast majority of that comes down to defense and turnovers. We have to clean those up."
