Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Parkland men's basketball team won a close one on Sophomore Day, defeating Illinois Central College 69-68 on Saturday afternoon. The Cobras (16-6) (7-1) have now won six straight conference games and remain in first place in the MWAC. Parkland's defense stepped it up, forcing 22 turnovers in the win over the Cougars (9-16) (2-7) and
Josh Rivers led the way for the Cobras with 18 points.
