Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ROCKFORD, Ill. – The No. 1 ranked Parkland College volleyball team wrapped up their opening weekend with a 2-0 day on Sunday, August 21st, defeating sixth-ranked Terra State Community College and the State College of Florida, both in four sets. Freshmen Kayla Pacha tallied 33 total kills between the two games while returning NJCAA All-American Kat Blase led the Cobras' defense with 15 blocks. Parkland College (5-1) closes out the Opening Weekend Tournament in Rockford, Illinois on a four-match winning streak.
 
Up next, Parkland returns to Champaign to host the Parkland "School's Back!" Tournament this upcoming weekend. The Cobras will take on Carl Sandberg College at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 26th, before battling with No. 16 Hawkeye Community College at 3:00 PM.
