CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa. – The No. 3 seed Parkland College volleyball team advanced to the 2023 NJCAA DII National Tournament Quarterfinals with a straight-set win over No. 14 seed Wallace State Community College on Wednesday, November 15. The Cobras (45-4) won a tight first set 26-24, pulled away to win 25-21 in a close set two, and the team closed out the Lions (44-6) in the third set 25-13. Sophomore

Abbie Skaggs recorded a team-high four aces in the sweep.

Up next, the Cobras take on No. 11 seed Des Moines Area Community College tomorrow, November 16, in the NJCAA DII National Tournament Quarterfinals. Tip-off against the Bears (29-10) is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The Cobras are 1-0 against DMACC this season, winning their previous match 3-1 at the Parkland Fall Challenge.
