INA, Ill. – The No. 3 Parkland College men's basketball team outlasted a tough Rend Lake College team 76-70 on Wednesday, December 6. The Cobras (12-0) held on to a nine-point halftime lead on the road, closing out the win at the free throw line to complete the season series sweep versus the Warriors (3-5). Sophomore guard Jabryn Anderson led a well-balanced attack with 15 points as Parkland improved to 12-0, the best start in school history.
 
"We knew coming here tonight that it would be an extremely tough game," head coach John Bowler said after the win. "They are a tough and well-coached team."
 
"I'm really proud of our guys. They continue to find ways to win," Bowler boasted. "They keep getting challenged, and they keep rising to the occasion at every turn."
