OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – The No. 4 ranked Parkland College golf team wrapped up the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate on Tuesday, April 11th, in a tie for 12th place at the two-day tournament hosted by Tennessee State University at the par-71 Hermitage Golf Club President's Reserve. The Cobras shot a third-round team score of 290 (+6) on Tuesday, adding to an opening-day score of 582 (+14) to finish at 872 (+20), tied with John A. Logan College. Parkland College sophomore Dain Richie individually finished in a tie for 16th after shooting a three-round score of 213 (E), his ninth top-20 finish of the season.
 
Parkland head coach Corbin Sebens felt he learned a lot from his team's performance, saying after the third round, "Overall, it was not the result we wanted this week, but it was a good experience battling against a field full of NCAA teams."
 
"There are a lot of positives we can take away from the last two days, but a lot of stuff we need to tighten up as we are approaching the post-season," Sebens added.
 
Up next, Parkland will compete in the Ackerman-Allen Shootout on Monday, April 17th, hosted by Taylor University at the Ackerman-Allen Course.
