Box Score 2 CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The No. 3 ranked Parkland College volleyball team kept rolling on day two of the Parkland "School's Back" Tournament, winning matches against 9th-ranked Muskegon Community College and St. Louis Community College in straight sets on Sunday, August 27th, at the Donald C. Dodds Jr. Athletic Complex. The Cobras (9-1) swept the Jayhawks and the Archers to extend their winning streak to nine straight matches. Freshman defensive specialist
Elizabeth Bodine totaled 14 service aces on Sunday, while sophomore
Bri Struck led the team with 24 kills.

"Today was infinitely cleaner than last week when we played a little bit of messy volleyball," Parkland College head coach
Cliff Hastings said after the matches on Sunday. "I thought the team really grew up a lot today."

"We're trying to find the balance between aggressiveness and cleanliness, and so early on, I'm okay with more errors because we are trying to find out how aggressive we can be," Hastings revealed.

Up next, Parkland travels to Godfrey, Illinois, for a match against Lewis & Clark Community College on Wednesday, August 30th. The first set against the Trailblazers (2-2) is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
