OAK BROOK, Ill. – The No. 6 Parkland College golf team put together a complete round at the par-72 Oak Brook Golf Club to combine for a team score of 289 (+1) and take home the victory in the one-round Bluejay Spring Invite hosted by Elmhurst University on Tuesday, April 9th. The Cobras were led by individual champion Marcos Park (68, -4) and 4th place Lucas Park (73, +1) – while Jack Sciaudone (74, +2) and Brando Signorini (74, +2) rounded out the scoring with matching rounds of 74 to finish in a tie for 6th in the team's sixth win of the season.

"I'm happy for the guys to get another team win," head coach Corbin Sebens said after his 50th career win as head coach of the Cobras. "We had multiple guys under at one point, but we let a few slip away mid-round. We are still making too many big numbers that are killing our rounds that we need to eliminate. Overall, we can take a lot of positives from this and continue to get better."

"I couldn't be more proud of Marcos (Park) for getting his first collegiate win," Sebens added. "He was one of only two players to shoot under par today – and that is really impressive."

Up next, Parkland competes in the Ackerman-Allen Invitational hosted by Taylor University in West Lafayette, Indiana, at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex. The two-round tournament will be played on the par-72 Ackerman-Allen Course on Monday, April 15th.
