Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Cobras are off to a 5-0 start after beating two more opponents in the Opening Weekend Tournament in Rockford, Illinois. The No. 5 Parkland volleyball team won in three sets against Florida State College at Jacksonville and North Central Michigan College.
 
The Cobras swept Florida State College at Jacksonville in the first match (25-10, 25-15, 25-21). Addie Beekman and Hailey Warfel each had 8 kills. Hailey Warfel also added 12 assists.
 
The second and final match of the day was against North Central Michigan College. Parkland secured their fifth sweep of the season, beating the Timberwolves in three sets (25-20, 25-17, 25-16). Shay McMillen had 9 kills in the win.
 
Parkland has two more matches in Rockford at the Opening Weekend Tournament on Sunday, August 25^th. The Cobras will face Iowa Lakes Community College at 11:00 AM and Gulf Coast State College at 1:00 PM. For more information, visit the tournament website here.
