CANTON, Ill. — October 8, 2025 — No. 6 Parkland College volleyball team earned another conference sweep on Wednesday night, defeating Spoon River College 25–18, 25–12, 25–13. The Cobras displayed their trademark depth and balance, controlling the match from start to finish to notch their 28th sweep of the season.

Next, the Cobras head to Normal, Illinois, for the Heartland Invitational — one of the most anticipated events of the NJCAA Division II season. The two-day tournament features a loaded field of nationally ranked opponents.

vs No. 2 Kansas City Kansas Community College at 10AM
vs No. 1 Cowley County Community College at noon
Saturday, October 11:
vs No. 8 Johnson County Community College at 11AM
vs Hawkeye Community College at 3PM
The invitational will serve as a major test for Parkland as they look to measure themselves against three of the top 10 teams in the country. Head coach Cliff Hastings and the Cobras enter the weekend with confidence and momentum, ready for a statement opportunity on the national stage.
