No. 6 Cobras Earn Overtime Road Win

Jaiden Martin hits game-winner

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—December 7, 2025— The No. 6 Parkland College men's basketball team earned a gritty overtime victory on Sunday, defeating St. Louis Community College 81–79 behind a game-winning shot from sophomore guard Jaiden Martin. The Cobras battled through momentum swings, foul pressure, and a competitive road environment to secure the two-point win.

Martin delivered a standout performance with 28 points. The Cobras also received a major spark from De'Shaun Tolever, who had a monster game off the bench, recording a double-double and providing crucial minutes in the post.

Nick Harrell caught fire in the second half, knocking down timely shots and helping Parkland maintain pace as the game tightened late.

Head coach John Bowler praised the team's toughness and adaptability:

"Really proud of our guys showing grit to pull out the road win. Had a lot of guys step up in different roles and situations. It was all around great to see. We still haven't played our best basketball, which is still encouraging. We still need to execute better on both ends of the court at a more consistent rate for us to get where we want."

With the victory, Parkland improves to 11–2 and continues building momentum as the season progresses.

Up next, the Cobras will travel to Palatine, Illinois, to face Harper College on Wednesday, December 11, with tipoff scheduled for 7 PM CST.
