No. 4 Cobras Come Up Short Against Danville

Parkland battles to the final horn

CHAMPAIGN, Ill.—January 14, 2025— The No. 4 Parkland College men's basketball team suffered a narrow 64–60 loss to Danville Area Community College on Wednesday night. The Cobras stayed within striking distance throughout but were unable to complete the comeback down the stretch.

Jaiden Martin led Parkland with 17 points, while Grant Chamberlain added 16 and Chris Bush chipped in 12, giving the Cobras three players in double figures. Parkland fought through a physical contest and multiple momentum swings but ultimately came up just short in the closing minutes.

With the loss, Parkland moves to 15–3 on the season.

Up next, the Cobras will hit the road to face Rend Lake College in Ina, Illinois, on Friday, January 17, with tipoff scheduled for 3 PM CST.
