Box Score 2 DANVILLE, Ill.—March 19, 2026—The No. 11 Parkland College men's basketball team continued its impressive postseason run Thursday night, knocking off No. 3 Milwaukee Area Technical College 92-79 in the NJCAA Division II National Championship quarterfinals.
With the win, the Cobras improve to 28-7 on the season and advance to the national semifinals, continuing a remarkable stretch of high-level play against top-ranked opponents.
Parkland delivered a balanced offensive performance, led by Jaiden Martin's game-high 28 points. Martin also added 6 rebounds and 8 assists, controlling the tempo throughout the contest.
Chris Bush contributed 18 points, while Grant Chamberlain added 14 points and 5 rebounds, including 4 three-pointers. Nick Harrell recorded a strong all-around effort with 11 points and a team-high 8 rebounds.
The Cobras saw key contributions from their bench as well, with De'Shaun Tolever adding 11 points and Trey Welter chipping in 6 points.
As a team, Parkland shot an efficient 55.9% from the field (33-59) and knocked down 11 three-pointers. The Cobras were especially effective in the second half, shooting 62.1% from the floor to pull away and secure the win.
Defensively, Parkland controlled the glass and forced Milwaukee into tough looks down the stretch, helping seal the victory.
The Cobras now face a quick turnaround as they prepare for a highly anticipated semifinal matchup on Friday evening (March 20) against Danville Area Community College—marking the fourth meeting between the two teams this season. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 PM CST.
