Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Cedar Rapids, Ia -- September 11, 2026 -- The No. 5 ranked Parkland Volleyball team picked up a pair of wins at day one of the Kirkwood Tri meet. Alayna Briggs' and Reis McFarland 's big day helped Cobras take down McHenry County College and Central Community College to extend their winning streak to eight.

Game 1: Parkland 3, McHenry County 1 (25-20, 22-25, 25-22, 25-15)
The Cobras got off to a strong start on the weekend against McHenry County Community College. The match remained even through the first two sets as Parkland took set one 25-20 before the Scots leveled the match with a second set win. The Cobras bounced back with a win in the third set before taking control to take a 3-1 win. Alayna Briggs and Reis McFarland finished with 14 kills each while combining for 22 digs on the defensive end. Khloe Stear added 22 digs of her own while Chloe Eeten finished with 30 assists for the match. 

Game 2: Parkland 3, Central Community College 0 (25-12, 25-21, 25-20)
The Cobras kept up the momentum in the second match of the afternoon as they rolled past Central Community College in three sets. The Cobras set the pace early hitting .429 in the first set on the way to finishing the match hitting .246. Briggs and McFarland led the attack once again with Briggs finishing with 14 while McFarland added 11 kills of her own. Libero Khloe Stear headed the defense with 25 digs while Chloe Eeten finished with 37 assists along with 11 digs. Briggs and McFarland each added 10 digs of their own while Briggs hit .462 for the match to lead the team.

The Cobras improve to 17-1 on the season, while McHenry County drops to 5-3 and Central Community drops to 9-5.
