CROWN POINT, Ind. – The Parkland College golf team completed a comeback win at the 2021 Mike Lalaeff on Sunday with a 1-under-par team score of 287 at the White Hawk Country Club in Crown Point, IN. Parkland finished the tournament with a 6-over par score of 582, five strokes better than second place Chicago State University.
Corey Neville won the individual title in a scorecard playoff with a 2-under par performance and Parkland finished with three players in the top five. The Cobras, who have not lost a tournament this year, were the only junior college team at the tournament.

The Cobras were five shots back after Saturday, trailing only Chicago State University. The whole team answered the call on Sunday, with all five individual golfers shooting better than they had the previous day, including three rounds under par, to help the Cobras finish the 2021 fall season undefeated.

Individually,
Corey Neville won his third tournament of the year with a two-day score of 2-under par 142.
Joel Petersson finished third after shooting 72 on Saturday and 71 on Sunday for a 1-under 143 and
Dain Richie ended up fourth after firing a 2-over 146. Sophomore
Scott O'Brien finished tied for ninth with a 7-over 151 and
Kegan Niles shot a 160 to land at 13
th place.
