PALATINE, Ill.—December 11, 2025— The No. 5 Parkland College men's basketball team delivered a dominant road performance on Thursday night, defeating Harper College 91–57. The Cobras set the tone immediately, opening the game on a 17–0 run and maintaining control the rest of the way.
Chris Bush led all scorers with 26 points, continuing his strong stretch of play, while Kodhi McStraw added 18 points as Parkland's balanced attack kept Harper on its heels throughout the contest.
The Cobras' early surge proved decisive, allowing Parkland to dictate pace and build separation as the game progressed. Strong defensive pressure and efficient scoring helped Parkland extend its lead and close out the win on the road.
Head coach John Bowler was pleased with his team's approach and execution:
"Great effort from our guys tonight. This is a tough road trip to make and we wanted to do this to show our guys what a conference road trip was like. Happy with our ability to make a run early and continue to build from there."
With the victory, Parkland improves to 11–2 on the season.
Up next, the Cobras will travel to Olney, Illinois, to face Olney Community College on Tuesday, December 17, with tipoff scheduled for 7 PM CST.
