CHAMPAIGN, Ill.—December 20, 2025— The No. 5 Parkland College men's Basketball team delivered a commanding performance Saturday afternoon, defeating the College of Lake County 92–65. The Cobras controlled the tempo from start to finish, using depth, ball movement, and consistent scoring to secure the win.
Parkland was led offensively by Jaiden Martin, Grant Chamberlain, and Chris Bush, who paced the Cobras with strong scoring efforts. Kodhi McStraw and Nick Harrell also made key contributions, helping Parkland extend its lead and maintain control throughout the second half.
The Cobras' balanced attack and defensive pressure limited scoring opportunities for Lake County while allowing Parkland to pull away as the game progressed.
With the victory, Parkland, now 13-2, heads into the winter break with promising momentum.
After the break, the Cobras will return to action on January 7, traveling to East Peoria, Illinois, to face No. 19 Illinois Central College.
