Box Score DANVILLE, Ill.—March 6, 2026—The Parkland College men's basketball team advanced to the Region 24 Championship on Friday evening, defeating Rend Lake College 91-78 in the semifinal matchup.
With the win, the Cobras improve to 25-7 on the season and move one step closer to a regional title.
Parkland trailed slightly at halftime, 37-41, but came out firing in the second half. The Cobras erupted for 54 second-half points while holding Rend Lake to 37, turning the momentum of the game and pulling away late to secure the postseason victory.
Jaiden Martin led the Cobras with 26 points while adding 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. Grant Chamberlain delivered a strong performance with 22 points and 5 rebounds, connecting on 4 three-pointers.
Chris Bush added 13 points and 5 rebounds, while Kodhi McStraw chipped in 9 points and 5 boards. Nick Harrell contributed 8 points and 4 assists in the balanced effort.
With the win, Parkland advances to the Region 24 Championship game on March 7. The Cobras will face Danville Area Community College with tipoff scheduled for 4 PM CST.
