Five different players scored on Saturday as the Parkland Women's Soccer team rolled to an 8-1 win over Illinois Central College. The win improves the Cobras to (3-2) on the season while ICC falls to (4-4).
The match was scoreless for the first 20 minutes before 
Nomi Veldt got PC on the board.  
Ali Hosey would connect just three minutes later to give PC a 2-0 halftime lead.
Hosey would add her second goal just four minutes into the second half as the Cobras quickly pulled away. 
Alexa Warren would score the next two PC goals while 
Gabriela Schuster would score twice, sandwiched around a goal by 
Beatriz Pinheiro Meneghin.  
Mayra Sosa had four assists on the afternoon while Veldt and 
Brianna Merchant would each add one.
 The Cobras return to action on Thursday when they head to Lewis and Clark for a key Region 24 showdown against the Blazers.
