"It was a solid performance from the ladies today on Sophomore Day. By the end of the first half, we felt confident in our passing strategy and knew that when we were able to take a breath, it would click. Halftime gave us that opportunity to get players on the same page. I have to credit East Central, they only had 11 players and fought until the end when the gate burst. I want to give a tip of the cap to the ladies for not taking their eye off the objective until the final whistle and to our defense line for holding strong."
With the win, the Cobras snap a 4-game losing streak and improve to 4-8 on the season.
