Normal, Il - October 30, 2026 - The Parkland College Women's Soccer team fell to #4 Heartland Community College in the Region 24 Semifinals in Normal on Friday.

The Cobras went down 2-0 in the first half, but the Hawks found a late surge, as the Cobras conceded six goals in the second half, losing 8-0 and seeing their season come to an end.

Tessah Williams, Addison Finet, and Indra Nolan each put up a shot on goal, as the Cobras finished with 3 as a team. Chloe Pluger had a strong performance at the net, finishing with 15 saves for the match, but the Heartland attack was too much for the Parkland backfield, and the Cobras never able to give the Hawks much stress at the net.

With the win, the Hawks advance to the Region 24 Championship on Sunday.

The loss marks a bittersweet end to the season for the Cobras, who finish 4-10 overall, but showed signs of improvement from last season with an improved overall record and some strong performances throughout the season.
