The Parkland College Softball team picked up a pair of road wins on Thursday as they defeated Frontier CC 10-5 and 1-0. The wins move the Cobras over the .500 mark at (10-9) while the Bobcats fall to (0-6). Parkland will return to action on Friday with a 1:00 doubleheader against Lewis and Clark.

Game 1:

Morgan Parrish evened her record at (3-3) as she earned the win as tossed five innings before being relieved by Kirbie Mendenhall. Makayla Reedy paced the Cobra attack as she had four hits including a home run and drove in three. Shelby Youngblood also had four hits and Ivy Nichols three.

Game 2:

Tori Witruk (4-3) picked up her 4th win of the year as she tossed a shutout allowing five hits while walking two and striking out six. PC scored their lone run in the 7th as Reedy and Lauren Block both singled and Bre Riemenschneider drove in the game winner.
