Softball shoots blanks in pair of losses to Bulldogs

For the 9th and 10th time this season, the Cobra Softball team was shutout in a loss. This time it was 3-0 and 8-0 defeats at the hands of South Suburban College in a non-conference doubleheader.  The Cobras fall to (20-27) with the losses while So. Suburban improves to (26-17). The road gets even tougher tomorrow as PC will host Rock Valley starting at 3:00. The Golden Eagles have won 11 straight and 18 out of 19 and stand (39-6) over-all.

Game 1:

Bre Riemenschneider had the lone hit of the game for the Cobras in the 3-0 defeat. The Bulldogs scored single runs in three of the first four innings as they built a 3-0 lead and they cruised to the win.
