For the 9th and 10th time this season, the Cobra Softball team was shutout in a loss. This time it was 3-0 and 8-0 defeats at the hands of South Suburban College in a non-conference doubleheader. The Cobras fall to (20-27) with the losses while So. Suburban improves to (26-17). The road gets even tougher tomorrow as PC will host Rock Valley starting at 3:00. The Golden Eagles have won 11 straight and 18 out of 19 and stand (39-6) over-all.

Bre Riemenschneider had the lone hit of the game for the Cobras in the 3-0 defeat. The Bulldogs scored single runs in three of the first four innings as they built a 3-0 lead and they cruised to the win.

Morgan Parrish couldn't find the strike zone as she walked six hitters in the opening inning, leading to six runs for the Bulldogs.
Tori Witruk relieved and was touched for two runs in the 2nd, but did not give up a run the final two innings of work.
Madyson Butkauskas had two of the Cobras six hits.
