Box Score EAST PEORIA, Ill. - Parkland Women's Soccer went on the road and beat Illinois Central, 8-5, Wednesday night. Georgia Ward led the offense with a first half hat trick, and four goals on the night.
Maria Jorquera, Mary Woods and Amanda Oliveira also contributed to the 8-goal performance, and a notable assist on a long ball played by goalkeeper, Gabi Flores. Parkland's defense and midfield helped control the game in possession, which allowed time for Parkland's attacking players to create problems for ICC's back line.
Parkland's next game is at home against Moraine Valley on Saturday, September 21st for a 2PM kickoff.
