Game 1: Parkland College 7, Danville Area Community College 2

The Cobras (19-14) quickly got out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st inning on a walk and hit by pitch. Casy Mandrell's two-out double in the 3rd drove in two runs and the Cobras led 4-0. The Jaguars (21-7) scored twice in the top of the 6th inning to cut the Cobras' lead to 4-2, but a Casy Mandrell home run and Zoey Clark's two-RBI single gave Parkland a comfortable 7-2 lead going into the final inning. Chayse Ramey (10-7) finished her complete game, and the Cobras won the first game by a score of 7-2.

In her 21st appearance this season, Chayse Ramey (7.0 IP, 0 ER, 4 H, 7 K) went the distance, striking out seven batters and walking just one over seven innings of work. In the batter's box, Casy Mandrell (2-2, 4 RBI, HR, R) tallied two extra-base hits and shortstop Anna Walker (2-4, 2 R) scored twice in the win.

Game 2: Danville Area Community College 7, Parkland College 2

Parkland jumped out to an early one-run lead in the bottom of the 1st when Anna Walker drove in Kendyl Ring on an RBI single to right field. DACC didn't stay down for long, however, as a three-run home run in the top of the 3rd gave the Jaguars the lead. The Cobras scored in the bottom of the frame but still trailed 3-2 going into the 4th inning. DACC scored twice in the 4th and once in the 5th and Parkland couldn't fight back, as the Cobras fell 7-2 in the second game on Sunday.

Jaidi Davis (4.0 IP, 5 ER, 5 H) got the start for Parkland in her 14th appearance of 2022, facing 23 batters and allowing five hits for the Cobras in the loss. Emily Senjan (3.0 IP, 1 ER, 1 H) relieved Davis on Sunday afternoon, allowing just one hit over three innings.

Kendyl Ring (2-4, 2 R) and Anna Walker (1-3, RBI) started the game off with two hits in the Cobras' first two at-bats, but the offense stayed quiet for most of the rest of the day. Zoey Clark (1-3, RBI) drove in a run in the bottom of the third, but Parkland was held without a hit from that point on in the loss.
