No. 12 Cobras Fall 6-0 at Home to No. 16 Illinois Central College

Freshman goalie Hannah Null makes a career-high 17 saves

Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The No. 12 Parkland College women's soccer team suffered its second home loss of the season on Tuesday, August 27th in a 6-0 defeat at the hands of undefeated Division I Illinois Central College. Freshman goalkeeper Hannah Null made a career-high 17 saves, but it wasn't enough to keep the Cougars (10-0) from taking down the Cobras (6-4-0), handing Parkland its second loss in a row.

"This was a tough loss for us today," Parkland College head coach Dan Vogelsang said after the game. "Unfortunately, our injuries and illnesses are really impacting us. We are playing players in positions they haven't played before because we don't have enough healthy players. We didn't have any defensive subs this game and only one of our defenders on the field was healthy. We don't have the depth on the bench like we did the first half of the season and the last couple games it has really shown. Hannah Null really stepped up this game and saved us with 17 blocks."
