Cobras Fall at Home to East Central College 3-1

Sophomore Lisa Kirwan scores her third goal of the season in the loss

Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Parkland College women's soccer team fell behind in the first half and could not recover in a 3-1 loss to East Central College on Wednesday, October 11. The Cobras (2-11) trailed 2-0 at halftime before the Falcons (6-8) extended their lead early in the second half. Sophomore Lisa Kirwan gave the Parkland offense some life with a second-half strike, but it wasn't enough, as the Cobras lost their sixth straight game. Goalkeeper Leire Rodriguez-Najera recorded five saves in the loss.
