Parkland took the lead in the top of the 4th on a two-run
Karley Yergler home run, and
Jaidi Davis (2-4, 2 RBI, R, 2B, SB) gave her team a 3-0 lead in the 5th inning, driving in
Lizzie Stiverson (1-4, 2 R) on a ground out. Davis hit an RBI single in the top of the 7th, and Yergler (2.0 IP, 0 H, 0 ER) picked up her first save of the season in the 4-0 win.

The Cobras struck first, as
Lizzie Stiverson (2-4, R, 2 2B, SB) scored on a passed ball in the top of the 1st inning, but the Eagles evened the score on an RBI triple in the bottom of the 5th.
Ellie Vetter (1-4, RBI) was the hero on Thursday night, popping an RBI single into center field to score freshman
Maddie Reed and giving Parkland a 2-1 lead in the top of the 7th. Mahomet-native
Karley Yergler (2.2 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 6 K) earned the win, striking out two in the bottom of the inning to finish the sweep.
