Sophomore Lisa Kirwan scores in the loss

Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Parkland College women's soccer team fell at home to Lincoln Trail College on Tuesday, September 5th, losing 4-1 to the Division I Lady Statesmen. The Cobras (1-4) scored for their third straight game when sophomore Lisa Kirwan fired a 35-yard shot over the Lincoln Trail keeper in the second half, but the Lady Statesmen (3-1) proved too much for the hosts.

"Tough day for the team," head coach Dan Vogelsang said after the loss. "Playing three games in six days with limited subs got the best of us. We are looking forward to possibly getting back four of our injured players this week."
