Trystin Raikes hit a walk-off three-run homer with two outs in the bottom of the 7th, to give the Cobras a 7-5 win over rival Danville and a double header sweep of visiting Danville Area. The home run, Raikes 10th of the season, sailed over the left field fence, igniting a big celebrations by the Cobras and their fans on Mission 22 Day at Parkland. The Cobras held the Jaguars to just one hit in the opener as they blanked DACC 6-0. The wins improve Parkland to (36-11-1 and 21-5) and move PC back into a tie for first place with Heartland with six conference games remaining. Danville falls to (19-21 9-17). The two teams will play games three and four of the series tomorrow starting at 11:00 am at Danville Stadium.
Game 1:
Josh Garner (5-3) tossed seven strong innings as he allowed just one hit while walking one and striking out ten as he picked up the win.
Tom Cheshareck did not allow a hit while striking out three in two innings of relief. PC got the only run they would need in the 1st and
Connor Aube singled and scored on a Raikes double. PC added two runs in the 2nd as
Max Downs walked,
Nick Wisz reached on an error, and
Alex Steinbach reached on a single to load the bases.
Brendan Joyce walked to force in a run and
Trevor Minder singled to make it 3-0. In the 4th, the Cobras would score three times as
Bobby Barnard doubled, Joyce singled, and
Connor Aube hit a three-run home run to give PC a 6-0 lead. The round tripper was Aube's 6th of the season. Aube and Barnard each had two hits for the victorious Cobras.

Game 2:
The Cobras were down to their last out until Raikes delivered the game winner. DACC had taken the lead in the top of the inning as they took advantage of two walks and two wild pitches to score a run without the benefit of a base hit. The Jaguar jumped ahead early scoring two in the first before PC answered back with solo tallies in the 1st and 2nd. Aube tripled and scored on a passed ball in the 1st and
Alex Steinbach hit an opposite field solo homer, his 2nd of the year in the 2nd. After DACC regained the lead in the 3rd, PC would take their first lead of the game as
Max Downs delivered a big pinch-hit double that scored Barnard and Joyce. The Jaguars tied the game in the 6th and went back ahead in the 7th setting up the dramatic victory.  Aube finished 3-4 while Raikes had two hits and the three RBI. Garret Acton (2-2) picked up the win as he tossed the final three innings in relief of
Jarret Olson.
