Box Score GALLATIN, Tenn. – The Parkland women's basketball team defeated Volunteer State Community College on the road by a score of 80-49 on Monday afternoon. Naomi McDaniel finished the game with 14 points and 10 rebounds, her first double-double of the year. The Cobras have outscored their opponents on this two-game road trip 158-93.
 
The Cobras (5-2) wrapped up their two-game southern road trip with a great defensive performance. Head coach Allie Lindemann's team finished Monday's game with nine steals and five blocks, handing the Pioneers (0-5) their fifth straight loss of the year. Parkland's bench stepped up in Tennessee; Freshmen Brooklyn Larson led the team with three steals and Claire Wilhour shot a perfect 3-3 from the field in the 80-49 victory. Shaelynn Bell led the Cobras in rebounding and blocking, finishing with 12 rebounds and 2 blocks.
