Jackson Moffat led the Cobras offense with two RBIs over the weekend, and Carter Monke got his first win of the season on the mound.

Game 1: Mississippi Delta Community College 6, Parkland 2

Parkland led 2-0 after four innings and the Cobras were in control thanks to two runs from Nick Gregory and four shutout innings from Tucker Shalley. But Mississippi Delta tied the game in the bottom of the fifth and scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead. The Cobras couldn't respond in the top of the seventh as they drop their first game of the season 6-2.

Tucker Shalley (4.0 IP, 0 ER, 7 K) was dealing in his first start of the season, allowing just one hit in four innings. Jack Snider (1.0 IP, 2 ER, H, BB) and Nathan Righi (2.0 IP, 4 ER, 2 K, 3 H, BB) came in for relief on Friday afternoon.

Game 2: Kirkwood Community College 18, Parkland 0 (5 innings)

Kirkwood scored one run in the first inning, three in the second, five in the third and nine runs in the fourth inning while Parkland's bats fell cold as the Cobras lost 18-0 in five innings on Friday evening.

Jaden Lamothe (1-2) and Nick Gregory (1-2, BB) were the only Cobras to get a hit and Mitch Mueller (2.2 IP, 2 ER, 7K) is credited with the loss.

Game 3: North Iowa Area Community College 2, Parkland 1

It was a pitcher's duel through four innings, as both sides were held scoreless, but North Iowa Area Community College broke through with two runs in the top of the fifth. Parkland responded with a run in the bottom of the frame, but it wasn't enough as the Cobras lose 2-1.

Keenan Taylor (1-2, RBI, BB) drove in Cole Jones (1-3, BB) in the bottom of the fifth. Reece Rodabaugh (4.1 IP, 2 ER, 4 K, 2 BB) threw four shutout innings before it all unraveled in the fifth. Will Stockman (2.2 IP, 0 ER, 4 K) relieved Rodabaugh in the fourth and threw two scoreless innings to close the game.

Game 4: Parkland 4, Three Rivers Community College 2

Parkland trailed early, as Three Rivers Community College drove in a run in the bottom of the first, but the Cobras fought back with two runs in the top of the fifth. The Raiders tied the game back up in the bottom of the fifth, but Jackson Moffat's two-run home run in the top of the seventh proved to be the winner, as the Cobras blanked the Raiders in the bottom half and won 4-2 on Saturday afternoon.

Moffat (1-2, 2 RBI, 2 R, BB) wasn't the only who produced for the Cobras' offense. Jake Vitale (1-3, R) and Jimmy Rybarczyk (0-2, R) scored, and Cole Jones (1-3, RBI) drove in one in Parkland's first win of the season.

Michael Sharman (4.0 IP, 1 ER, K, 2 BB) got his first start of the year and Carter Monke (1-0) (2.0 IP, 0 ER, 3 K) got the win and the save for his two shutdown innings to end the game.
