Box Score 2 VINCENNES, Ind. – The No. 19 Parkland College baseball team added two road wins over Vincennes University on Saturday, May 4th. The Cobras (33-12) (21-7) shut out the Trailblazers (13-38) (5-23) in both games on Saturday, winning 6-0 in game one, and 4-0 in game two, extending their current win streak to seven games in a row. Parkland outhit Vincennes 16-7 in the doubleheader, as sophomore outfielder 
Josh Outlaw led the Cobras with five total hits, including two doubles in game two.
 
Up next, Parkland welcomes Vincennes to Champaign tomorrow, May 5th, for the final regular season doubleheader. First pitch against the Trailblazers is scheduled for noon on Sunday at the Parkland College Baseball Field.
 
Game 1: Parkland College 6, Vincennes University 0
 
The Cobras put a run on the board in the top of the 2nd inning on an RBI double from left fielder 
Ryan Snell (2-4, 2B, RBI, R), but neither offense could get much going early. Infielder 
Will Applegate (2-5, 2B, RBI, R) doubled the lead with an RBI double in the 5th, and the Cobras pulled away with three consecutive RBI singles in the 7th by 
Adison Worthman (1-4, 2 RBI, R), 
Jacob Filip (1-1, RBI, 2 R, 2 BB), and 
Josh Outlaw (1-5, RBI) to go up 6-0.
 
Starting pitcher 
William O'Gorman (7-0) allowed four hits and two walks in five innings of work, striking out nine batters in his 12th start of the season. Freshmen 
Lane Lorton (3.0 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 7 K, 2 BB) and 
Alex McHale (1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, K, BB) held the Trailblazers scoreless in relief, helping Parkland to a 6-0 win in game one.
 
Game 2: Parkland College 4, Vincennes University 0
 
Parkland grabbed an early lead when 
Luke Parmentier scored on a wild pitch in the top of the 1st, and 
Josh Outlaw lined an RBI single to right field to put the visitors up 2-0 later in the inning. Sophomore shortstop 
Tylor Phommachanhom lifted a sacrifice fly to score 
Andrew Gallegos in the bottom of the 2nd as the Cobras took a 3-0 lead, and sophomore 
Will Flanigan extended the lead with a sacrifice fly in the top of the 6th, driving in Parmentier to put Parkland up 4-0.
 
Sophomore starter 
Sam Bryan (7-1) tossed six shutout innings on Saturday, allowing just two hits and three walks while striking out six. Freshman 
Mike Boyce (1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, K) finished the job on the mound, pitching a scoreless 7th inning, and the Cobras won game two 4-0.
