Cobras Place Seventh at Greenville Classic

Garrison claims runner-up spot

GREENVILLE, Ill. — October 17, 2025 — The Parkland College women's cross country team continued its strong fall season with a solid team performance at the Greenville Classic, hosted by Greenville University. The Cobras placed seventh overall with a combined team time of 1:51:18 in the women's 5k.

Sophomore Aleigha Garrison once again led the way for Parkland, finishing second overall with a time of 19:01.1 and averaging 6:07.2 per mile. Garrison has been a consistent front-runner all season, earning another top finish to continue her streak of impressive performances.

The Cobras continue to show growth and depth as the postseason approaches. Up next, Parkland will compete in the NJCAA Region 24 Championship on October 24 in Normal, Illinois.
