PEORIA, Ill. — September 20, 2025 — The Parkland College women's cross country team competed at the 38th Bradley Intercollegiate on Friday, September 19th, marking the squad's second meet of the 2025 season. Racing against a competitive field of nearly 200 runners in the 3-mile event, the Cobras placed 19th overall with a team time of 1:50:24.
Sophomore standout Aleigha Garrison continued her strong start to the year, finishing 40th overall with a time of 18:33.2, averaging 6:11 per mile. Garrison has been a consistent front-runner for Parkland, following up her impressive debut at the Eastern Illinois University Walt Crawford Open two weeks ago, where she placed 37th overall with a time of 24:12.1 in the 6k.

The meet provided the Cobras valuable experience as they continue building early momentum in the season. Up next, Parkland will compete in the Heartland Invitational on September 25th in Normal, Illinois.
