CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Parkland College Athletics has named sophomore men's basketball guard Jaiden Martin and sophomore defensive specialist Anna McEwen as the November Athletes of the Month, recognizing two standout student-athletes who delivered dominant performances throughout the month.
On the basketball court, Martin has been a driving force for the Cobras' offense. The Milwaukee, Wisconsin native has started every game this season, emerging as one of Parkland's most reliable and explosive scorers. He averaged 24 points per game in November, highlighted by an extraordinary 42-point performance against Edison State that showcased his ability to take over a game at any moment.
McEwen, from Milford, Illinois, anchored the Cobras defensively all season. She currently ranks No. 1 in the NJCAA in total digs, surpassing 1,000 digs in the 2025 season alone—a rare milestone that underscores her unmatched consistency and impact in the backcourt. Her season-long excellence also earned her a Division I commitment to Eastern Illinois University, where she will continue her volleyball career next fall.
McEwen and Martin's efforts reflect the talent, discipline, and competitive fire that continue to elevate Parkland College Athletics.
