EAST PEORIA/CHAMPAIGN, Ill.—April 26, 2026—The No. 23 Parkland College baseball team continued its weekend series against Illinois Central College (ICC) with a strong showing on Saturday before returning home for two additional games on Sunday.

With the weekend action, the Cobras now sit at 29-16 overall on the season.

Saturday's doubleheader in East Peoria featured two competitive matchups between the conference opponents.

In Game One, Parkland edged ICC in a high-scoring battle, earning a 12-11 victory. The Cobras' offense delivered in key moments, keeping pace throughout before securing the win late.

In Game Two, Parkland was held to just one run, falling 1-3 as ICC evened the day's results.

The series continued on Sunday in Champaign, where the Cobras hosted ICC for another doubleheader. Parkland and ICC wrapped up the four-game weekend set on their home field, continuing conference play in what has been a tightly contested matchup between the two programs.

Up next, Parkland will host Moraine Valley Community College on April 28, with first pitch scheduled for 3:00 PM CST.
