Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill.—April 6, 2026—The Parkland College baseball team delivered an offensive showcase on Monday afternoon, sweeping Vincennes University in a doubleheader with commanding wins of 16–6 and 12–4.
With the sweep, the Cobras improve to 18–14 overall on the season.
Game One: Parkland 16, Vincennes 6 (5 innings)
After a back-and-forth opening inning, Parkland broke the game wide open with a nine-run second inning, seizing control early and never looking back.
The Cobras totaled 10 hits and 11 walks, consistently applying pressure at the plate.
On the mound, Tyler Tylka earned the start, while the bullpen helped secure the run-rule victory.
Game Two: Parkland 12, Vincennes 4 (7 innings)
Parkland carried its momentum into Game Two, using a six-run second inning and a five-run fourth to take firm control.
