Box Score NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Parkland College women's soccer team lost to the NCAA DIII North Central College Reserves 6-1 on Thursday night. Izzy Fritz was the Cobras lone goal-scorer, doing so on a free kick late in the second half.
 
The Cobras (4-10-1) knew they were in for a tough game against an NCAA opponent tonight, and the Cardinal's reserves made their presence known early, scoring in the ninth minute and the 43^rd minute to make it 2-0 at halftime. The Cardinals started to have more success against the Cobras in the second half, scoring in the 47^th, 51^st, 55^th and 79^th minute, but the Cobras would not go quietly. After a foul outside the box late in the game, Izzy Fritz stepped up and buried the free kick in the 84^th minute to make it a 6-1 final score. Parkland goalkeeper Becky Painter had seven saves in the first half and backup goalkeeper Dana Jarden had nine in the second half.
